HOW TO USE ME PROPERLY?
Before first use, put 5-10 grams of tea into the cast iron teapot, and let it brew for about 10 minutes before pouring away the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times until the water is clear. Avoid pouring over 70% of capacity water into the teapot and refrain from using detergent, a brush, or any other cleaning implement. Dishwashing detergent is not recommended, simply clean it with water. Dry the teapot after each use to prevent rust, taking the lid off while drying so the remaining water will evaporate slowly. A tannin film will cover the interior, which is a reaction of tannin from tea leaves and Fe2+ from the teapot, helping to remove odor and protect the teapot from rusting.
